Figma Design System Build

A Figma component library with tokens exported to code, so design and front-end share one vocabulary and new screens stay consistent.

Fee · GST incl.
₹34,999
Duration
20 working days

01 Overview

When the Figma library and the codebase disagree, a design system stops being trusted, so we work on both at once. Tokens capture colour, type and spacing, and they export in a form your front-end consumes directly, meaning a palette change never sends anyone searching through stylesheets. About 40 components are built with variants and auto-layout that behaves when resized. Accessibility is checked along the way, because correcting contrast after the fact is tedious and expensive.

02 Deliverables

7 items

What you receive at handover

  1. D01 Tokens for colour, typography, spacing, radius and elevation
  2. D02 Roughly 40 Figma components, each with variants, states and auto-layout
  3. D03 Token export to CSS custom properties or to a Tailwind configuration
  4. D04 Usage guidance on when each component should and should not be used
  5. D05 Accessibility checks for WCAG AA colour contrast and focus visibility
  6. D06 Light and dark themes driven from a single token set
  7. D07 Joint working session for your designers and front-end developers

03 Outcomes

What should be true once it ships

  • Design and code use the same vocabulary, so handoff needs no translation
  • New screens are assembled from existing components instead of drawn afresh
  • Accessibility is built into components rather than patched under deadline pressure

04 Process

How the 4 stages run

  1. Audit We list every component and style your product currently uses
  2. Define Tokens and naming conventions are agreed jointly by design and engineering
  3. Build Components are created, documented and reviewed in batches
  4. Adopt One real screen is rebuilt using the system to prove it holds up

05 Fit & inputs

A good fit for

  • Product teams where buttons look slightly different on every screen
  • Companies expanding from one designer to several
  • Front-end teams juggling three competing sets of styles

What we need from you

  • Access to your current Figma files and front-end repository
  • One designer and one front-end developer free to join the working sessions
  • Final choices on brand colours and typefaces, where these are undecided

These inputs are collected through the technical brief in your dashboard after payment. The duration is counted from when they arrive.

Questions about this engagement

This scope includes the token export and one pilot screen. The complete coded library is a separate engagement, which we can quote for.

Not at all. Layering your tokens and conventions over that foundation is usually the best route, and it is how we would approach it.

Clear ownership and a light review routine, both covered in the adoption session. Design systems decay through neglect rather than through poor components.

This is technology work delivered digitally — nothing is shipped. Work is delivered into systems you control within the duration stated above, and the delivery and refund policies set out what happens if a date is missed.
